What to Expect
If you are new to massage, we recommend to start with deciding what type of massage you want. There are many types of massage techniques and they all have different effects on the body. We offer massage sessions that can help with stress, pain or more specific problem areas and musculoskeletal conditions.
prior to your appointement
To ensure your session goes smoothly, please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment start time. Complete the digital intake form and health screening prior to arrival. Plan ahead for where to park. Metered street parking is available and there are two free city parking lots within walking distance.
when you arrive
Ring the doorbell and our receptionist will be there to greet you. After checking in, your massage therapist will guide you to the massage treatment room. The therapist will then review health history, injury or areas of concern and offer instructions for how to disrobe/undress and lie on the heated table underneath the sheet and blanket. The therapist will leave the room so you can have privacy and will knock before coming back in to start the session.
during your massage
The massage therapist will check in throughout your massage session to ensure the pressure and technique being applied is working for you. Your comfort during the session is important to us and we encourage open communication between both therapist and client at all times.
After your massage
The massage therapist will leave the room after the session is ended and you will be be given time alone to dress and exit the treatment room. Depending on the focus of the session, the massage therapist may provide some after-care instructions, such as staying hydrated, applying heat or ice, foam rolling, stretching or strengthening techniques.
All-Inclusive Pricing. No Tips.
Massage therapy is healthcare and we do not accept tips because cost transparency in healthcare is important. Tipping is psychologically stressful for both client and therapist; it discourages a healthy therapeutic relationship and the practice of tipping contributes to wage instability for massage therapists.

We're sorry, after speaking to a representative from the ADA, it was concluded that due to our building being built in the 1800s, the original design limitations make structural changes to the building not feasible. If you are looking for a massage therapy business that is handicap accessible, please reach out and we would be happy to refer you to a different business that is handicap accessible.
